YES BANK Receives ₹429 Crores from JC Flower ARC Trust, Boosts Recovery from NPAs

YES BANK Ltd. has announced the receipt of ₹429 crores from a single trust within the Security Receipts Portfolio related to its earlier NPA sale to J.C. Flower Asset Reconstruction Private Limited. This receipt, exceeding the carrying value of the underlying assets, is considered material under SEBI’s disclosure norms and has been disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

This payout marks a significant step in YES BANK’s efforts to clean up its balance sheet by resolving and recovering from stressed assets. The bank had initially sold a substantial NPA portfolio to JC Flower ARC back in December 2022, and this latest inflow is a result of that strategic move.

The disclosure has been made available on both BSE and NSE, and is hosted on the bank’s official website: www.yesbank.in

Share Market Effect:

This development is likely to have a positive impact on YES BANK’s stock price in the short term, as it enhances the bank’s financial health and recovery prospects. Investor sentiment may improve due to the successful recovery and inflow of funds, potentially attracting more trading volume and upward price movement.
